Terms & Conditions

Effective date: July 2026

1. Eligibility and accurate information

You must meet the age, identity, residency, parental, licensing, and other eligibility requirements for the program you select. You agree to provide complete and accurate information. Supplying false, misleading, or another person's information may result in suspension, cancellation, withheld certificates, or referral to the appropriate authority.

2. Accounts and security

Each student must use the account assigned to that student. Accounts, verification codes, course access, certificates, and login credentials may not be shared. You are responsible for activity under your account and must promptly report suspected unauthorized access.

3. Enrollment and program selection

Programs are state-specific. You are responsible for selecting the correct state, program, school, and service. Enrollment does not guarantee eligibility for a permit, license, road test, or other government action. Government agencies make their own eligibility and licensing decisions.

4. Course participation and completion

Students must personally complete all required work, including:

  • Required lessons, videos, timers, identity or security checks, and study activities.
  • Quizzes, exams, signatures, acknowledgments, and personal-validation questions.
  • Any required parent, guardian, instructor, or school steps.
  • Any required classroom, behind-the-wheel, observation, driving-log, or road-test activity.

Progression rules, study limits, passing scores, retake rules, and certificate eligibility may vary by state and program. Circumventing timers, copying content, using automation, impersonating another student, or receiving unauthorized help is prohibited.

5. Certificates and records

A certificate is issued only after the platform and school records show that all applicable requirements have been met. We may delay, correct, replace, revoke, or decline to issue a certificate when information is incomplete, inaccurate, duplicated, fraudulent, unpaid, or inconsistent with program requirements. Students are responsible for reviewing certificate information and reporting errors promptly.

6. Learner permits and behind-the-wheel services

Permit submission does not itself confirm legal eligibility to drive. Students and parents or guardians are responsible for complying with permit restrictions, insurance requirements, supervision rules, and all traffic laws. Behind-the-wheel lessons, instructor scheduling, vehicle availability, and road-test services may be subject to separate fees, school rules, location availability, cancellation policies, and eligibility checks.

7. Payments, fees, and refunds

Prices and included services are shown at purchase or enrollment. Additional services may require additional payment. You authorize our payment provider to process applicable charges. Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy and any mandatory rights provided by applicable law.

8. Intellectual property

Course text, videos, narration, graphics, quizzes, software, certificates, branding, and other platform content are owned by or licensed to ABC Online Driving. Access is limited to personal educational use. You may not copy, record, download, publish, sell, redistribute, scrape, reverse engineer, or create derivative works except where expressly authorized in writing.

9. Prohibited conduct

You may not:

  • Use another person's account or allow another person to complete your work.
  • Attempt to bypass security, timers, progression controls, payments, or access restrictions.
  • Upload malicious code, unlawful content, or documents you are not authorized to provide.
  • Interfere with the platform, instructors, staff, other students, or school operations.
  • Use course materials or personal information for unauthorized commercial or harmful purposes.

10. Availability and changes

We may update course content, platform features, schedules, instructors, school locations, pricing, and procedures. We may temporarily interrupt access for maintenance, security, technical problems, or events outside our reasonable control. We will make reasonable efforts to preserve valid student progress and records.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for nonpayment, fraud, cheating, misuse, threats, unlawful conduct, repeated policy violations, or risks to students, staff, the school, or the platform. Termination does not eliminate obligations or records that must survive by law or their nature.

12. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Educational content and school services are intended to support driver education and training, but they do not guarantee that a student will pass an exam, receive a permit or license, avoid collisions, or become eligible for a particular government service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, ABC Online Driving is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the platform or services.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where another law must apply. Any dispute must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction unless the parties agree to another lawful resolution process.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as services, programs, or legal requirements change. Continued use after updated terms become effective constitutes acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
